  I designed and made my first Couture Bead Bouquet in 2004 having studied art, beadwork, textile art and floristry. I became interested in the history of beadwork, particularly french beaded flowers, and started collecting vintage and antique examples of the art. It was at that time that the Gild the Lily bead bouquet was created.

 "I adore creating beautiful, individual accessories, and am inspired by vintage jewellery, millinery, beads, crystals, feathers and flowers.  I have collected many unusual pieces over years of magpie gathering and relish giving a new lease of life these precious, timeless materials. My wish is that others will receive as much pleasure owning these treasures as I have designing them".
